At the Microsoft Spring Festival Gala, SAADA presented Tang Imprint (Awakening of the Tang Figures), a Chinese classical dance work inspired by the visual language of Tang dynasty sculptures and murals.

Through ensemble choreography, sculptural body lines, and rhythmic spatial formations, the piece evokes the grandeur and refined spirit of the Tang era. Strength and softness unfold simultaneously in the dancers’ movements, while shifting formations and flowing costumes create a powerful visual presence on the modern stage.

Tang Imprint bridges historical imagery and contemporary performance, offering audiences an embodied experience of Chinese classical aesthetics — one rooted in balance, structure, and expressive restraint.

This performance reflects SAADA’s ongoing mission to bring traditional Asian dance forms into diverse community spaces and to foster cultural dialogue through embodied art.
